| Hook: "Think about your life a year ago. What were your favorite hobbies? What were your biggest goals? How have things changed?" Bridge: "A lot can change in a year, right? Our interests, our goals, even our values can evolve. And that's totally normal! Today, we're going to take a moment to reflect on who we are now and who we want to become." Overview: "Over the next few weeks, we'll be working on three badges to help you upgrade your life. First, we'll Upgrade Your Lifestyle. We'll explore what's important to you and how to balance all the different parts of your life. Then, we'll Supercharge Your Strengths. We'll identify your unique strengths and create a plan to develop them into practical skills. Finally, we'll dive into Your World. We'll explore different roles and discover how you can make a positive impact, no matter what career path you choose." |
2. Student Learning / Independent Learning (12 minutes): | Students will complete and earn the first badge in the "The Funnel Refresh" lesson:

3. Teacher-led Activity: Lifestyle Alignment Challenge (40 minutes): | Students will work in groups to explore Find Your Grind lifestyles that resonate with their personal values, as well as to creatively consider how their lifestyles may guide their choices and future aspirations. This activity is designed to encourage group discussion, critical thinking, and connections between personal lifestyle traits and teamwork dynamics. *See teacher materials* |
4. Student Learning / Independent Learning (30 minutes): | Students will complete the last two badges in the "The Funnel Refresh" lesson:

5. Student-led Activity: Strength & Skill (30 minutes): | In this activity, students will identify one strength they have and think about how to turn it into a useful skill. This will help them see how they can apply their natural talents with purpose in the real world. |
6. Reinforce Learning – Closure (2 minutes): | Review: "Today, we've talked about the three badges we'll be working on: Upgrading Your Lifestyle, Supercharging Your Strengths, and Exploring Your World. Remember, these badges are about more than just completing tasks; they're about personal growth and self-discovery." Reflection: "Take a moment to think about what you learned today. What surprised you? What inspired you? What questions do you still have?" Call to Action: "As we move forward, keep an open mind and be willing to try new things. Remember, your journey is unique, and there's no right or wrong way to grow. Let's embrace this opportunity to become the best version of ourselves." |
