Objective:

  • A quiet space to think and write

  • A large piece of paper or a digital mind tool (like MindMeister, Canva, or Google Drawings)

  • Markers, colored pencils, or any digital design tools you prefer

In this activity, you’ll define your core values, reflect on your current habits, and create a personal vision of the life you want to live. This blueprint will help you make decisions that align with who you are and the impact you want to have on the world.

Getting Started:

Step 1: Define Your Core Values

Core values are the principles that guide how you live your life. These values shape your decisions and your interactions with others.

  1. Choose 3-5 core values that are most important to you. You can use the list below for inspiration, or feel free to add your own.

    • Examples: Integrity, Compassion, Growth, Independence, Creativity, Leadership, Family, Kindness, Honesty, Adventure, Innovation.

  2. For each value you choose, write a brief definition of what it means to you.

  • Value 1: ______________________
    Definition: _____________________________________________________________________

  • Value 2: ______________________
    Definition: _____________________________________________________________________

  • Value 3: ______________________

  • (Optional: Value 5: ______________________)
    Definition: _____________________________________________________________________

Step 2: Reflect on Your Daily Habits

Think about your current daily habits. Do they align with the core values you just identified? In this section, you’ll evaluate your habits and choose new ones that will help you live according to your values.

  1. List 3-5 daily habits you currently have that support your core values. These could include things like being kind to others, working hard at school, or spending time with family.

  • Habit 1: ________________________

  • Habit 2: ________________________

  • Habit 3: ________________________

  • Habit 4 (Optional): ________________________

  • Habit 5 (Optional): ________________________

  1. Now, think about 2 new habits you could add to your daily routine that will help you live your values even more. These could be actions or changes you want to make to better align with your values.

  • New Habit 1: ________________________

  • New Habit 2: ________________________

Step 3: Create Your Vision

Now, take a moment to imagine what your life will look like when you’re living according to your values. You’re creating a blueprint for the future you want to build.

Create an infographic or visual representation of your life based on your values and habits.

Use a design tool like Canva or a simple drawing on paper to represent your ideal lifestyle. Be creative! Include words, images, or symbols that resonate with your identity and vision for your future.

Step 4: Reflection

Once your infographic is complete, write a short reflection. Answer the following question:

  • How will you use your blueprint to guide your choices and make an impact on the world around you?
Write 2-3 sentences explaining how you plan to stay true to your values and make decisions that align with your vision.
